The Brief
Design an exhibition in the lower mainland to bring awareness to a local endangered species.
The Problem
How might we design a science center to inform residents and tourists in the lower mainland about the habits, history, and risks to the local sturgeon population?
The Solution
The Sturgeon Center is a small one-room exhibition with interactive elements, infographics, and models of the fish. Through this visitors can learn about the species in a short but captivating visit.
The Location
The exhibition would be built along the Fraser River on the Hope Rotary Trail. When people head to Hope for Sturgeon Fishing they can stop at this exhibition to learn more about the local sturgeons.
